Home Based Business Success Story
Hi. My name is Barbara and I’d like to tell you a little story to introduce myself . In 2008, the sub-prime lending fiasco was in full swing. Many people got caught up in that as did I. As 2009 approached, I knew my mortgage was going up but I figured “How bad could it be?” I made a good salary, 6 figures, and figured it wouldn’t be anything too crazy, right? Wrong!!!
In January 2009, I came home and opened a letter from my mortgage company saying my mortgage would go up $1509.00 a month!!! I stood in the middle of my kitchen in shock, paralyzed into inaction. I couldn’t move, I couldn’t cry, I couldn’t think! So I asked for a loan modification and the mortgage company turned me down; not once, twice, but three times! It just didn’t make sense and I had no clue what to do or how to fix it!
I figured I would try to somehow supplement my income! Work another job outside my 60 hours a week! The only way I could see logically even to make a little headway was to try a home-based business and work an extra 10 hours a week, probably on the week-ends.
However, I’ve never been one to do Avon, or Pampered Chef or Mary Kay. I had no interest, but I knew that many people in bad economic times had used these types of companies to make massive amounts of money. I knew I had to find one such company that I wanted to work at and something I could believe in; something different, new, unique that could make an impact financially for me and a way to help others in the process.
I knew network marketing home-based businesses could produce outstanding results if you found the right company. While many people outside the industry have biased or negative impressions, I knew that network marketing was a legitimate business strategy and I needed desperately something!! Tired of working 60 hours a week with little return, I started listening to network marketing opportunities quite by accident. Years ago I would have never even entertained the idea, and then I found myself at these networking events, trying to find a new business.
At one particular networking event, a young lady named Carrie Robinson stood up and said “I’ve got something that will drop you 2 to 3 dress sizes in 10 minutes!” Needless to say I was very intrigued and when she asked for volunteers to try on these amazing garments, I volunteered. I wanted to see for myself and that day was the day that changed my life!
Right after that, I tracked Carrie down and I joined Ardyss International. Before I knew about the phenomenal compensation plan with 10 ways to make money; before I knew about the benefits of Ardyss’ organic, nutritional products; and before I knew truly what I was getting myself into, I joined because I saw the benefit and beauty in the one product…the Body Magic!!! I was soooo excited and I knew that everyone would want one! But then an amazing thing happened…little by little I delved deeper and learned about the fabulous, organic, nutritional products and I knew I really had hold of a ‘gold mine.’ I started using LeVive , our flagship juice and saw some amazing results in myself in terms of my energy and for my daughter with asthma, an amazing change in building her immune system. Then there’s the weight loss products that are all organic and natural and actually work! The more I learned about the health and wellness products, the more I became convinced this was the right company with the right products and the right opportunity for me!Now three years later, with a team of almost 800,my car payment has been paid each month by Ardyss for over one year now, along with many other great benefits. Who ever heard of a network marketing company with health benefits?! I have residual income and my team is growing by leaps and bounds! You see when I started with Ardyss, I made a 6 figure income and I devoted weekends to Ardyss. Then the week-ends started going into the week-days and finally my days were full of Ardyss.
When I joined Ardyss , I made a promise to myself that I would leave corporate in February 2010. On April 12, 2010 I left corporate and am now working at Ardyss full-time! I get paid 10 different ways! Unheard of in home-based businesses! We have a sound business strategy that allows you to get to the top in 5 months! But do you know what’s even better…? It’s not all about me! I get to help people be healthy. I’m helping people get financially free and help people get healthy and well and change their lives!
To be successful, it takes a small investment and it takes time. The first thing I learned is that you have to stay in the business long enough to make the business work, just like any other business you start. The second thing was that you have to follow the leaders, duplicate what they do and you will succeed! Anyone can do it!
